Launched in 2021 alongside Invisible Dust, this 3-day online event explored the future of human relationships with nature through a lens of art, science, and Indigenous wisdom. A collective of artists, scientists, activists, and Indigenous representatives came together to share vital contributions to the climate conversation in the form of Q&As, talks, discussions, artist presentations, film screenings, and Listening Sessions.

The collaboration

Living Nature is a collaboration between Flourishing Diversity and Invisible Dust in partnership with Synchronicity Earth and the British Library.

  • Flourishing Diversity is a path towards a vibrant future and a collective approach in response to climate breakdown and biodiversity loss. We bring together voices from all over the world to explore humanity’s interconnection with the lands, waters, forests and fellow species, creating spaces to listen to and learn from all life. We raise critical questions, search for alternative answers, and amplify generative cultural practices.
  • Invisible Dust has a twelve-year history working with artists and scientists to produce artworks and public programmes about environmental concerns.
  • Synchronicity Earth is a conservation charity that works in overlooked and underfunded areas worldwide.
  • The British Library are our event partners for Living Nature and will host the final day of the programme on October 28th.

Living Nature has been made possible  thanks to the support of Aurum.
